Empire Services Cleaning FAQS

Empire Serv wants to answer any possible questions you may have about our commercial cleaning services. The following information regarding costs and payment, cleaning procedures, and insurance should help you better understand Empire Serv.

How do I know that I can trust Empire Serv?
We are a 100% local company based in Asheboro NC, but we service many areas throughout the Triad. Since 2010, owner Chris Cassady has been committed to paying competitive wages and using only experienced, trustworthy cleaners living in the local area. All of our cleaning team members are also insured and bonded.

How often do you clean?
We will clean as often is needed, which may mean daily, weekly, monthly or just once.

Can you clean entire buildings or multiple buildings?
Yes, we definitely can. Our cleaning services will be tailored to your specific needs.

What are your payment options?
We accept the following credit cards: MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover. We bill on a monthly cycle and invoice through email or mail.

Do I pay for an estimate?
No, we do not charge for estimates. If you are interested in cleaning services for your home, please call us to set up an appointment. One of our cleaning supervisors will come to your office or facility to perform a free assessment. As part of your estimate, we will customize a cleaning plan and checklist of services that would for your specific needs. You will hear back from us with your estimate within 24 hours of the assessment.

Can I get an estimate over the phone?
Unfortunately, we cannot ensure accuracy over the phone, so this is not an option. We are available to schedule quotes Monday thru Friday.

Can Empire Services handle monthly invoicing and billing?
Yes, we can. Just inform us about your company invoicing and any particular needs.

Do I have to sign a long-term contract with Empire Services?
No, you are not required to sign anything. We work off of a written proposal detailing your chosen cleaning services and their cost. This way, you can alter your cleaning service needs at any time with just a phone call.

Can I receive a discount for agreeing to a maintenance contract?
Yes, we offer discounted pricing for regular route based service for businesses.

Do you have business liability insurance?
Yes, we have General Liability, Worker’s Compensation and auto policies. Empire Services maintains insurance to protect you from damaged property or any worker injuries that may happen while our staff cleans your business.

How do I know what you have cleaned while you were here?
Before our cleaner leaves your business, they complete a cleaning checklist. This checklist tells you everything we cleaned. If everything is unable to be cleaned in one visit, the areas our cleaner missed will be noted on the checklist and given the most attention during the next visit.

Should workers clean up before Empire Services arrives?
Since we charge by the hour, it would be helpful for you to pick up any clutter before we arrive. This will ensure that we clean as much floor space as possible. However, there is no need to clean — we are happy to handle everything for you.

Are your employees screened with background checks?
Yes! All of our employees are screened with background checks, personal reference checks, uniformed with identification cards, insured and bonded before they enter your business.

Do I need to provide any cleaning supplies?
We offer you the choice of using your cleaning supplies or ours.

Does Empire Services offer green services?
We do. Just tell us you’re interested when we come to give you an estimate.

Do you guarantee your work?
Yes, we do! If you are dissatisfied with a cleaning visit, we will send a supervisor to solve any problems right away and credit that cleaning on your next invoice. Basically, you don’t have to pay for cleaning you’re not happy with. If you invest in quality office cleaning from Empire Services, we promise you nothing less than quality work.

What is your cancellation policy?
We accept cancellations or rescheduled appointments 48 hours in advance. Please understand that we book our appointments very early, so scheduling an appointment on short notice is often not an option.

Since introducing electrostatic disinfection as a new service offering, we’ve received many questions from customers. A short answer to all the questions we’ve received is that electrostatic disinfection allows us to effectively and safely disinfect more square feet in less time.

How does electrostatic disinfection work?
Electrostatic disinfection is a quick and easy way to achieve 360 degree, touchless disinfection. While it may sound complicated, the technology is simple to understand.

Electrostatic sprayers use positive and negative charges to make disinfecting solutions electromagnetically stick to targeted surfaces. For example, no matter which angle you disinfect a surface from, the charge created by the electrostatic sprayer makes the disinfectant wrap around and cling to the entire surface.

What does it fight against?
This will depend on the disinfectants used. Our electrostatic sprayers kill 99.99% of bacteria found in biofilm, C. Difficile, TB and other viral and fungal infections in just 4 minutes.

Is it effective against COVID-19?
Yes! They have 1 minute kill claims for coronavirus.

Aren’t you already disinfecting my facility?
Yes, Empire Services personnel are trained in touch point disinfection. This is the disinfection of commonly touched surfaces like phones, handles, facets and horizontal surfaces.

Electrostatic disinfection is not a replacement to your regularly scheduled service. But it is a great addition that guarantees that all surfaces, even small areas or upholstered surfaces that can’t get wiped down, are disinfected. Remember, it’s not just disinfecting the tops of surfaces but underneath and all the way around too.

How long does electrostatic disinfection take?
This will depend on the size of the area being disinfected. It takes approximately 30-45 minutes to clean and disinfect each room in a hospital using traditional methods. This system can reduce cleaning and disinfecting times by 40%.
